Textbook Broke Results

The Winter 2019 #textbookbroke campaign ran January 21-25 in four University of Ottawa library locations: MRT, RGN, FTX, and CRX. Over 200 post-its were collected, with students indicating the amount of money they spent on their textbooks this term and leaving quite a few comments.

Many of these comments mentioned that exorbitant textbook prices led students to skip out on buying textbooks altogether or to resort to piracy as an alternative.
